I am extremely excited. I just got in some new fabric from the robert kaufman line.. Critter and Creatures, I can't wait to make a blanket and changing pad with this...

working through obstacles..

Life has been bringing some great obstacles in front of me lately… But I am not going to fall, on the contrary I am moving forward further than I have ever been. I believe obstacles are put in our paths for a reason what are we going to do about it, Fall? Cry? Give up? I am a very spiritual person and I choose to believe...Pick my feet up and walk tall over them. And just then I decided to list some more of my products that have been sitting in my closest for months doing nothing just sitting waiting for me to make a move… So in the mist of my emotional melt down I sat in front of my computer and uploaded my photos and listed some of my products…. No more then 20min. later I sold one of those items, later that night I have some one interested in my products for a review on her blog. All it took was me to make a move, life is funny that way I couldn’t find 20 min in my normal everyday life but in the mist of the chaos I found that and look what happened. I feel like I have been bit by the bug, I can still do this.

I also decided to take some pictures of my youngest daughter wearing one of my bibs for my etsy shop hope you like them…
She is wearing a reversible bib great for any occasion... I think....

Attacking My Bay Window....

I am excited but nervous at the same time.. ahhhh curtains for my bay window, where do I even start. I have been wanting to make curtains for all of my windows in the house, but of course that goes on my to do list but never actually gets done. Now I am forced to attack my windows especially my bay window, my kids decided one day to use the string from my insulated blinds to hang there toys from and swing them around. Well I am sure you know were I am going with this!! Now I can fix the blinds but I hate them I have been wanting something more inviting.. So thanks to my kids I have to attack it now. I went down to my local fabric store.. Which is having a closeout sale sad but also great for me everything is about 40 - 50% off. After talking to the store manager (who is a interior designer on the side... He help with my moms curtains; beautiful, that's all I can say) I have decided to go with Roman Shades to show of my wood molding around my windows and add a swag to the other window in my family room. So now my mission is to find the perfect fabric.. I want to go a little bohemian in my house love that feel but not to the extreme I bought some fabric that is in that direction for my bar stools.. I will post those pictures this weekend of my new upholstered bar stools.. Wish me luck, I think I will put up some pics of my bay window later today!
